félixe sl est un nouveau projet indie-folk qui invite l'exploration de paysages mystiques et sensoriels. Elle combine couches éthérées de voix, de synthétiseurs, et de guitare électrique, en collaboration avec musiciennes.musiciens et artistes de Winnipeg.
Micah Baribeau
Auteur-compositeur-interprète franco-manitobain, Micah Baribeau est sur scène depuis l’âge de neuf ans. Connu du jeune public sous le nom de Micah!, il est récipiendaire du Trille Or 2025, Musique pour enfants de l’année. Il poursuit également son parcours comme auteur-compositeur-interprète avec un répertoire de folk contemporain porté par une voix douce mais puissante.
Dans le cadre de IceBreakers, Micah présente son univers musical et profite de l’occasion pour faire quelques détours par de nouvelles chansons de Micah!, parce que certaines chansons écrites pour les jeunes peuvent très bien trouver leur place auprès des grands aussi.
Keri Latimer
Keri Latimer is a Japanese Irish Canadian singer/songwriter and composer based in Winnipeg. She is best known as the front woman of the internationally touring band Leaf Rapids, and for her earlier work leading the JUNO Award winning band, Nathan, and collaborating on a film score for the movie, Frozen River, that was nominated for an Academy Award.
Her voice, often described as “liquid silver,” carries songs that are sharp, observational, and quietly subversive. Rooted in folk tradition yet open to sonic exploration, Latimer’s writing balances intimacy with emotion, weaving personal narrative with inherited histories and contemporary unease.
Across more than two decades of touring, recording, and collaboration, she has built a body of work that is both tender and unflinching. music that invites listeners inward while gently challenging the ground beneath them.
Diaphanie
Diaphanie means “the art of recreating stained glass on translucent paper”; its tremulous nature defies genre and makes each release a part of the ephemera, never permanent. Helmed by singer Heather Thomas (ATLAAS), Diaphanie’s grounding features are Thomas’ heart-rending songwriting and her voice- a rich, fluid, ethereal tone that floats effortlessly from intimate to effusive.
