IceBreakers is a unique series of three intimate live music shows at Atelier 48, located just 30 minutes from Winnipeg’s eastern perimeter highway.
Each evening brings together singer-songwriters from different musical styles, generations, and French- and English-speaking backgrounds. In a relaxed, creative workshop-inspired atmosphere, artists share the stage, perform their songs, and reveal the stories behind their music.
Tickets are just $30, and seating is limited. Come experience something different, support local artists, and be part of a growing rural music community in Manitoba.

Atelier 48 is a versatile creative space located in the heart of southeastern Manitoba. Nestled on a well-maintained, wooded property, this multi-purpose space for artists and cultural projects features a large soundproof studio and several furnished accommodations. Designed for audio recording, creative exploration, team retreats, and show development, the space is ideal for individual artists and small groups. Whether you're looking to spend an afternoon in the woods, take a breather while on tour, or enjoy a residency of several weeks in a dedicated and inspiring environment, Atelier 48 is ready to welcome your next creative project.

*Although Atelier 48 is not a professional recording studio, we can recommend sound engineers who are familiar with our spaces and work with mobile recording equipment.
The studio is a large, modular space on the second floor, equipped with a sound system, a soundproof booth, work surfaces, a relaxed lounge area with sofas, and a selection of instruments, including a K. Kawai baby grand piano. Arrange the studio to suit your needs using the provided acoustic treatment panels and furniture.

Our accommodations include four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, a dining room, and a games room spread across the first and second floors. The building has some accessibility features, including a stairlift (two steps remain inaccessible to wheelchair users) and a wheelchair-accessible shower.
